Receptionist Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, clients, and staff members.
* Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
* Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
* Take accurate messages and forward calls to the appropriate personnel.
* Assist visitors with inquiries, provide information, and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
* Remind staff members of scheduled appointments or meetings.
* Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
* Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment.
* Provide general administrative support to office staff, such as photocopying and faxing documents.
* Assist in maintaining office supplies and inventory.
* Serve as a liaison between visitors, clients, and internal staff.
* Relay messages and information accurately and efficiently.
* Perform basic clerical tasks, such as data entry and filing.
