Position Summary

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the key communicator for all service and repair operations, acting as the bridge between our customers, management, and technicians. Your role will involve understanding customer concerns, coordinating necessary services, and managing expectations regarding service delivery. It is essential that you ensure customers are informed about required repairs and recommended maintenance, assuring them that their vehicles will be serviced correctly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding automotive service and repairs.
- Listen attentively to customer issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Maintain clear communication with customers about the status of their vehicles.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Post-secondary automotive training or relevant experience is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a dealer-level or large facility setting is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with CDK and/or X-Time is a plus.
