We are seeking a Warehouse Material Specialist who will ensure compliance with safety, production, sustainability, and quality benchmarks. This role involves collaboration with various departments to support the company's core objectives and facilitate the movement of products to optimize production flow.

Work Schedule: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, following a 2-2-3 rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interprets and comprehends Job Tickets and layouts to produce high-quality products.
  • Implements production schedules accurately and promptly to maximize throughput.
  • Collaborates with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Meets or exceeds performance metrics established for this role.
  • Completes necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Operates material handling equipment safely.
  • Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal performance, including adjustments and preventative maintenance.
  • Accurately inputs information into systems for job tracking and payroll purposes.
  • Properly disposes of waste materials into designated containers, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
  • Adheres to established safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations (e.g., GMP, HAACP, BRC).
  • Maintains professionalism and respect in interactions with all associates, upholding the company's ethical standards.
  • Responsible for daily housekeeping duties.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Proficient in operating material handling equipment; forklift experience is essential.
  • Basic mathematical and reading skills.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. without assistance.
  • Familiarity with inventory control and shipping/receiving processes is advantageous.
