Job Overview

Thompson First Group is in search of a skilled Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic to support our operations. The ideal candidate will possess experience with industrial HVAC systems, refrigeration, and material handling machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct repairs, adjustments, and routine upkeep of the warehouse infrastructure.
  • Execute general electrical repairs and maintenance on various equipment within the facility.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify necessary maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks are in good working order.
  • Review work schedules and production documentation to prepare for daily operations.
  • Carry out daily safety inspections to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Undertake maintenance, repairs, and installations on equipment, adhering to established processes and standards.
  • Maintain, replace, construct, adjust, and modify facilities and grounds as per a predetermined schedule, addressing both emergency and non-emergency situations.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to keep the maintenance area organized and tidy.
  • At the conclusion of each shift, secure all tools and complete necessary reporting documentation.
  • Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
  • Focus on maintenance and repair within the warehouse setting.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
