Lead Behavioral Health Specialist

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Behavioral Health Technician to provide guidance and direction to our team. As a key member of our team, you will oversee daily client activities, assist in orientation, and ensure medication policies are followed. You will also de-escalate crisis situations, document client activities, facilitate group sessions, and complete all necessary documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide guidance and direction to other Behavioral Health Technicians
- Oversee daily client activities and ensure adherence to rules
- Assist in orientation of client population and medication policies
- De-escalate crisis situations and document client activities
- Facilitate group sessions and complete required documentation
We require a Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a related field, or a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma with two (2) years of responsible employment history.
Supervisory Requirements:You will provide leadership and guidance to Behavioral Health Technicians, monitor program issues, and communicate changes within the department.
Additional Requirements:For the Adolescent Program, you will receive training on adolescent behavior, family dynamics, communication skills, etc., within the first year of employment.
