Behavioral Health Coordinator

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and organized Behavioral Health Coordinator to join our team at Burrell Behavioral Health. As a Behavioral Health Coordinator, you will interact regularly with patients, support administrative tasks related to behavioral health treatments, and assist with the daily operations of the outpatient behavioral health department.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the scheduling of patient appointments.
- Collaborate with providers to maintain treatment protocols.
- Update and maintain patient information in the EHR (Electronic Health Record) system.
- Prepare and organize materials, instruments, and equipment for daily operations and treatment implementation.
- Provide compassionate care, patience, and understanding to patients in need of behavioral health support.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential records.
- Follow established treatment and office procedures.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and professionalism in all tasks.
- Act courteously and with tact when dealing with patients, visitors, coworkers, and the public.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- Two or more years of related experience in a customer or patient-facing role.
- Preferred but not required: Bachelor's in human services or an LPN.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective communication with patients and coworkers.
- Willingness to learn and expand abilities.
- Ability to monitor patients for medical symptoms based on training.
- Strong typing and data entry skills.
- Exceptional organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Proficient computer skills and willingness to learn new software.
- Effective time management skills.
