Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and establish effective rehabilitation strategies.
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans that incorporate both short-term and long-term objectives, ensuring collaboration with healthcare professionals and patient involvement.
  • Administer prescribed physical therapy interventions, including manual exercises and the use of specialized equipment, to facilitate patient recovery.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Evaluate the functionality and fit of assistive devices, providing recommendations for modifications to enhance patient support.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Ensure adherence to medical documentation standards and maintain accurate records of patient care services.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism and accountability within the therapy department, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Experience: A minimum of 23 years in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid state license for Physical Therapy and CPR certification.
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, effective time management, sound judgment, and active listening.
  • Attributes: A service-oriented mindset with a keen sense of social perceptiveness.
