Job Summary:

Sterling Apartment Personnel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing/Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Leasing Professional, you will be responsible for showing and leasing apartments to prospective residents, as well as initiating marketing efforts to various merchants and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completes lease forms or agreements and collects rental deposits.
  • Ensures model apartments and target apartments are ready for show and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Has thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and community policies.
  • Utilizes effective telephone and sales techniques to lease apartments.
  • Stays informed of current market conditions, rental rates, sizes, locations, and amenities of the property.
  • Maintains contact with apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational materials.
  • Conducts outreach marketing at least once per week and develops an on-going resident retention program.
  • Processes administrative forms, reports, and related information in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Handles resident requests and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • 6 months to 1 year of previous leasing experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Strong sales experience and ability to close deals.
  • Punctual and present with a professional appearance.
  • Ability to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
