About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Specialist to join our team at Siemens Industry, Inc. As a key member of our Smart Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training solutions to our customers and internal employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs for Siemens Building Automation products and courseware
  • Travel to customer facilities to provide on-site training and support
  • Maintain expertise on knowledge of service strategies, design engineering, installation, startup, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Test and validate product functionality in training exercises
  • Setup and pack up equipment for courses of instruction
  • Report and track maintenance on assigned training equipment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of HVAC experience, with field service experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a comparable training role or as a Systems or Service Specialist, Engineer, or Project Manager at Siemens
  • Demonstrated proficiency in instructional techniques and course development
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and travel 70% of the time
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree in a related field
  • Experience in Building Automation Systems installation and servicing of HVAC controls
  • Military experience as a Master Training Specialist or working with complex systems
  • Knowledge of electronic or digital control systems and ability to test and write modifications to system software
