Trident Trust is a leading provider of corporate, trust, and fund services to the financial services sector worldwide. We are seeking a Manager, Fund Accounting to join our Houston office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the activities of multiple clients, overseeing senior and staff accountants to ensure client needs are met and tasks are delegated appropriately.
  • Review work, provide guidance, and training, and assist with monitoring and assessing current processes and procedures.
  • Manage sophisticated reporting and communications for various fund clients.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Firm understanding of GAAP, specifically as it relates to fund accounting.
  • 5+ years of related accounting or comparable experience.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience managing a team, training, delegating work, and providing guidance and support.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience completing and reviewing complex calculations, such as fund NAV calculations, waterfalls/investor allocations, and other various calculations.
  • Experience managing clients and third-party service providers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Experience with Advent Geneva, QuickBooks, or Allvue a +, and willingness to learn new software as needed.
  • Ability to function in high-pressure situations with competing priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail, self-management, and ability to effectively prioritize workload and tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to attend industry events.
