- Financial Management: Manage finances and supervise the on-site engineering team to optimize resource allocation.
- Process Development: Define, maintain, and support battery manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality and cost-effective products.
- Process Innovation: Lead process innovation and enhancements to improve product quality and reduce costs.
- Integration and Coordination: Coordinate the integration of material processing equipment for safe and cost-effective manufacturing.
- Team Supervision: Supervise daily routines within the process engineering group and assign tasks within project scope.
- Budget Development: Support department budget development and control expenditures.
- Policy Enforcement: Provide direction on company policies and enforce safety practices with a zero-injury mindset.
- Talent Development: Determine training needs for talent development within the engineering team.
- Technical Accuracy: Ensure technical accuracy in team's work.
- Project Completion: Ensure project completion on time and budget following specified processes.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor/contractor relationships to meet project timelines.
- Engineering Changes: Oversee all engineering changes from quote to PPAP implementation.
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering required.
- Experience: Five (5) years of proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role.
- Background Check: Must pass D&B checks.
- Physical Requirements: No facial hair; must be willing to have blood drawn a few times a year.
- Six Sigma Certification: Six Sigma Certification is highly desirable.
$60.00 to $81.00 per hour
