We are seeking a motivated and experienced Government Services Coordinator to join our team at the Cumberland County Government. This role will be responsible for administering/managing all aspects of the City of South Portland's CDBG program, including grant applications, staffing the Community Development Advisory Committee, environmental reviews, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. This position involves working closely with city departments and external subrecipient agencies to monitor grant-funded projects and programs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
  2. The successful candidate will also assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports for CDBG and HOME, gather data on community needs, and update the Community Development portion of the South Portland website.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as community development or public administration, is required.
  • Professional experience with federal regulations, including environmental reviews, Davis Bacon Act, Fair Housing, CDBG, and HOME, is preferred.
