Job Title: Electrical Foreman

At EMCOR Group, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems on our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate electrical installations, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and company standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned craft workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to ensure accurate and efficient execution of electrical work.
  • Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules, utilizing knowledge of equipment and personnel capacities.
  • Attend project planning and scheduling meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, utilizing problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
  • Maintain accurate time records and inspect the quality of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Perform frequent safety inspections of work areas, equipment, tools, and employees to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and company safety policies.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate journeyman experience in electrical construction and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in confined spaces.
