Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our members and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the facility, including offices, common areas, locker rooms, bathrooms, and parking lot.
    • Mop, pressure wash, dust, sweep, and refill bathroom and locker room supplies as needed.
    • Remove trash and recyclables from the facility.
    • Set up meeting spaces and assist with other projects as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position with variable hours, primarily working weekends. The successful candidate will be required to attend staff meetings and work collaboratively with Program Directors to ensure facilities are clean and ready for our members.
