Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Cashier Supervisor to join our team at K-1 Speed Inc. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring a fun, informative, and efficient racing environment for our customers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate cashier personnel to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Coordinate with management to address disciplinary and operational issues, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Prepare the front desk and café areas prior to opening, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Train new staff members on race package options, pricing, and general flow, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Supervise ongoing transactions, enforcing policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively, prioritizing customer safety and well-being.
  • Ensure the front desk, lobby, and café areas remain clean and safe, performing or delegating facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
  • Verify that closing duties are completed to secure the front desk and café, preparing for the next day's operation.
  • Implement and maintain proper discount, coupon, and gift card procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct and supervise the training of new staff, ensuring they meet the necessary standards and expectations.
  • Oversee and maintain the retail and concessions areas, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and store appearance.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems in standardized situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents and speak effectively before groups.
  • Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to add, subtract, and manipulate two-digit numbers.
