KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and enhance the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program at the facility
  • Coordinate BJJ programs for both youth and adults
  • Monitor class performance and suggest improvements for the BJJ curriculum
  • Promote and facilitate private lessons and one-on-one training sessions
  • Organize and market in-house events, competitions, and seminars related to BJJ
  • Ensure that instructors adhere to the established class structure and guidelines
  • Plan and execute BJJ belt promotion ceremonies
  • Grant stripes to qualifying students and recommend candidates for testing
  • Participate in monthly meetings and conference calls
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow BJJ instructors
  • Maintain regular communication with the Regional BJJ Director
  • Foster a sense of community and belonging among members
  • Encourage and conduct private and small group training sessions
  • Ensure precise management of client training programs and progress tracking
  • Assist in all activities aimed at generating revenue
  • Focus on transforming lives through exceptional service, scientific methods, and sales
  • Act as a brand ambassador for UFC Gym
  • Conduct safe and effective private training sessions in BJJ
  • Maintain a clean and organized training environment at all times

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Comprehensive understanding of private training methodologies
  • Familiarity with the dotFIT program and associated software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive demeanor
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Capable of following both oral and written instructions
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities
  • Experience with office equipment operation

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of Purple belt or higher in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
  • Certification in BJJ belt ranking
  • Verification of BJJ lineage
  • Record of participation in grappling tournaments
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Current DotFIT certification
  • At least one year of relevant teaching experience

COMPENSATION: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
