Job Title: Head Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach

At UFC GYM, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach to lead our BJJ program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the program, ensuring its success and growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and assist with the BJJ program at the club location, ensuring its smooth operation and growth.
  • Coordinate UFC GYM BJJ Youth and Adult programs, providing a comprehensive and engaging experience for our members.
  • Track BJJ Program/classes and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement, ensuring our program remains competitive and effective.
  • Assist with selling BJJ small group Private lessons and or 1 on 1 sessions, promoting our program to members and potential clients.
  • Organize and promote UFC GYM BJJ in-house events, tournaments, and seminars, creating a dynamic and engaging experience for our members.
  • Ensure instructors are following class curriculum, format, and regulations, including UFC GYM GIs by instructors and members.
  • Organize and promote UFC GYM BJJ belt promotions, ensuring instructors are following the stripe and belt promotion system.
  • Issue stripes to students that qualify and recommend students that are ready to test, promoting their growth and development.
  • Attend monthly meetings and conference calls, staying informed and engaged with our team.
  • Collaborate with other UFC GYM BJJ instructors to maintain the integrity of the UFC GYM BJJ program, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Regular communication with Regional BJJ Director, staying informed and aligned with our program's goals and objectives.
  • Help to build a sense of community and belonging among our members, creating a positive and supportive environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Purple belt or higher.
  • BJJ Belt Certificate.
  • BJJ lineage verification.
  • Grappling tournament record (preferred).
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Current DotFIT certification (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of related teaching experience.
Compensation:
