Job Summary

Become a vital part of the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital family in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida, as a Respiratory Therapist. Work alongside skilled professionals in a collaborative setting, where your expertise in assessing patient needs, executing therapeutic procedures, and fostering effective communication will directly contribute to superior patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Execute therapeutic procedures, including ventilation and oxygenation
  • Foster effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or must be obtained within 120-day orientation period
  • Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Salary Range

Minimum $37.54 per hour - Maximum $37.54 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
