Compensation Package
The compensation package for this position includes a competitive starting salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as travel time compensation and report writing compensation. Full-time positions also include a range of benefits, including medical, dental, 401K, paid vacation, and paid holidays.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SIU/Claims Investigator to join our team. As a part-time investigator, you will be responsible for conducting complex SIU/Claims cases, obtaining written and recorded statements, performing scene investigations, and investigating property theft, vehicle theft, garaging issues, and permissible use claims. You will also be responsible for accurately documenting evidence and providing detailed, accurate reports.
Requirements
- You must be licensed as a Private Investigator in the state of Georgia and reside in the Macon or surrounding area.
- You must have complex SIU/Claims investigation experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed, accurate reports.
- Obtain written and recorded statements.
- Perform scene investigations.
- Investigate property theft, vehicle theft, garaging issues, and permissible use claims.
- Accurately document evidence.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience conducting complex SIU/Claims cases is a must.
- Being a notary is highly preferred.
- Experience conducting surveillance as a Private Investigator is preferred.
- Bi-lingual is a plus.
- Associates/Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel as necessary.
- Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours and days.
- Strong computer and Internet skills.
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
- Must possess a reliable vehicle, digital camera, and computer with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Word, and Internet connection.
- Must have the personal pride to get your work product in on time.
