This position involves the planning and implementation of sophisticated estate planning strategies, requiring extensive interactions with clients and other professional advisors. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of technical knowledge, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in estate planning strategies, trust administration, and tax matters, including tax return preparation.
  • Assist attorneys in the practice by drafting trust and estate documents and communicating with clients or their representatives.
  • Operate effectively in an environment that emphasizes individual accountability.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of Massachusetts probate and trust law.
  • Demonstrate superior problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Be highly organized with an extreme attention to detail.
  • Effectively multitask and assist senior partners in delivering high-quality client service.

Requirements:

  • Superior academic credentials, including a J.D.
  • LL.M in taxation is preferred.
  • 4 – 6 years of sophisticated estate planning experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Client Records management software, such as Netdocs, is a plus.
