  • Provide patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and stabilizing patients for transport to medical facilities.
  • Operate emergency medical equipment, including ambulances and medical devices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Paramedic in an emergency medical setting.
  • Good familiarity with computers and their use.
  • Not less than 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Registered or Licensed Paramedic certification through the Texas Department of State Health Services.
Working Conditions

Work in indoor and outdoor environments that are subject to extreme temperatures and inclement weather along with intermittent exposure to dust, fumes and intense loud noises.

Maintain physical activity over prolonged periods of time including walking, kneeling, stooping in awkward positions, and moving/lifting heavy objects up to 100 pounds.
