Position Summary: Under the guidance of the Service Team Manager, the HVAC Service Specialist is responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment. This role involves initial equipment start-ups and ensuring positive customer interactions by diagnosing equipment issues and executing repairs to meet both customer and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct service calls of varying complexity and difficulty.
  • Maintain and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Provide emergency services across the service area as needed.
  • Manage truck stock and inventory effectively.
  • Adhere to the truck maintenance schedule while keeping an organized and clean workspace.
  • Perform general maintenance on cooling towers, pumps, VFD drives, RTUs, AHUs, ductless splits, boilers, chillers, etc.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and office staff regarding work performed or required.
  • Participate in an on-call schedule as necessary.

Compliance: Adhere to all guidelines, policies, and procedures established by Calvert Controls.

Required Qualifications:

  • 602 Journeyman license.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to obtain DOT Certification.
  • Pass a background check for Government facilities.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • CFC Universal certification.

  • Experience in HVAC mechanical systems.
