Position: Business System Analyst
Location: Remote (Hybrid)
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business, Technical, and various stakeholders to gather and analyze OMS requirements across multiple regions, focusing on call center order management and retail fulfillment solutions.
- Facilitate workshops with business units and engineering teams to elicit comprehensive requirements.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders and engineering teams to gather functional and technical specifications.
- Draft JIRA stories and lead scrum meetings to ensure project alignment.
- Oversee data mapping processes, coordinating with source, target, and middleware teams to ensure accurate mappings.
- Implement a strategic approach to requirements that enhances the scalability of the OMS.
- Document non-functional requirements effectively.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a business systems analyst, specifically in order management (experience with Manhattan Active OMNI is advantageous), with a strong background in e-commerce and retail scenarios.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in Manhattan Active OMNI.
- Thorough understanding of microservices, web services, REST APIs, and other integration methods, with the ability to translate technical knowledge into detailed requirements.
- Solid grasp of OMS-related data models to take ownership of data mappings.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to identify opportunities and conduct core KPI analysis. Experience with established e-commerce metrics, such as conversion rates.
- Proven ability to comprehend technology concepts and their implications.
- Experience in Order Management and Fulfillment domains.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and their application in workplace culture (SCRUM, LEAN, Kanban, SAFe, Design Thinking, etc.).
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and demonstrate self-directed learning.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Willingness to adapt work hours to accommodate international project implementations.
