Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager II to join our team at Cherokee Nation Businesses LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and coordinating all aspects of various IT-related projects from initiation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop project plans and budgets.
  • Coordinate with multiple internal and external groups.
  • Disseminate information on any problems or potential delays and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure that projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Communicate project progress to appropriate audiences.
  • Manage aspects of customer interface, including requirements of cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Manage project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members.
  • Participate in negotiation of requirements and requirements changes.
  • Oversee Cost, Schedule, Scope, and Risk Management.
  • Serve as focal point for and liaison between departments on project status or other project information.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and provide practical guidance on driving projects to completion.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to IT's PMO processes of a moderate nature.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting and 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of project management, creating, and implementing project schedules, and managing project teams and budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor and advise large teams.
Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting. Work may require travel, including overnight stays. Work will require varied shifts including, weekends and holidays, as needed (on call).
