Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort, assemble, and hand surgical instruments and supplies throughout the preoperative period.
  • Provide patient care and perform appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients.
  • Effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other healthcare team workers while maintaining standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Surgical Technology Program.
  • Previous perioperative experience is preferred.
  • Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT) is required within 12 months of start date in the position.
  • Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification is required within 6 months of start in department/position.
