Job Summary:

Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a CST, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room environment, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort, assemble, and hand surgical instruments and supplies throughout the preoperative period.
  • Provide patient care and perform appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients.
  • Effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other healthcare team workers while maintaining standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Surgical Technology Program.
  • Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification within 6 months of start in department/position.
  • Shift and Weekend Pay Differentials.
