About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Editor to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Technical Editor, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality, all-source intelligence analysis products that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and edit intelligence analysis products, including written reports and assessments
  • Apply IC analytic standards and tradecraft standards to ensure high-quality products
  • Collaborate with analysts and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy
  • Proofread and edit text for style, accuracy, and clarity
  • Prepare intelligence assessments and written products with a focus on logical argumentation and analytic clarity
Requirements
  • Experience as a writer, editor, or intelligence analyst in an IC organization
  • Experience in producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing the production of analysis products
  • Ability to apply IC analytic standards and tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 Analytic Standards, and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience with technical editing in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possession of excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD.
