Job Title: Accessioning Technician

We are currently seeking a full-time Accessioning Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing patient specimens, performing initial data entry, and preparing samples for send-outs to reference laboratories.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be detail-oriented. If you are a motivated and team-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality results, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process patient specimens
  • Perform initial data entry
  • Prepare samples for send-outs to reference laboratories
  • Communicate with clients and laboratory staff
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
