Patient Care Technician

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team in an outpatient dialysis center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support to our patients with end-stage renal disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record patient statistics, observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
- Build long-term relationships with patients and educate them on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
