Linux Systems Administrator Staff

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our Cyber & Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in protecting our nation's critical infrastructure and ensuring the security of our citizens.
Key Responsibilities- Provide full lifecycle support for collection and antenna systems, including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, procurement, deployment, security, training, and sustainment.
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems, including Linux operating systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and vSphere.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Configure and manage Linux operating systems, install and load operating system software, troubleshoot issues, maintain the integrity of network components, and implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted.
- Ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator (SA) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience with Linux system administration, including configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and vSphere is beneficial. Ansible experience is preferred.
- TS/SCI w/Poly SP clearance required.
