Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Manager, IT Compliance will report directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and will oversee the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT Compliance program. This role involves managing revenue transactions and critical reporting derived from custom-built systems hosted on Amazon Web Services utilizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. You will collaborate with our security team to ensure that control owners have comprehensive and precise review populations, validating the accuracy of control execution. Additionally, you will lead our IT compliance monitoring team and contribute insights regarding our internal control monitoring and execution tools. Should there be any changes in our business or technology landscape, you will coordinate with engineering, IT, finance, HR, and product teams to implement necessary adjustments to our SOX IT Compliance framework.

Candidate Profile:

● A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification is mandatory; CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and/or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certifications are preferred.

● A minimum of 8 years of experience in internal and external auditing within large public companies, with a focus on IT auditing in complex environments, or experience in large accounting firms auditing intricate IT client bases.

● At least 5 years of leadership experience, including team development and management.

● Extensive knowledge of IT audit programs and practices; experience with Big 4 IT Audit firms is preferred.

● In-depth understanding of general computer control areas and IT governance frameworks (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley, COSO framework, COBIT, NIST CSF, ISO).

● Proven experience in designing and implementing internal control systems, particularly in a large-scale management-led SOX organization.

● Demonstrated ability to assess security and controls across various hosted and SaaS/cloud-based technologies.

● Strong grasp of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including agile and CI/CD processes.

● Familiarity with Git-based source code management practices, including commits, pull requests, approvals, and merges.

● Exceptional negotiation, influence, and partnership skills, particularly with multi-functional and remote teams.

● Proven track record in developing and executing strategic people plans to ensure optimal role alignment and employee engagement.

● Strong vendor management and relationship-building capabilities.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to business leaders and business concepts to technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework components, including IAM roles, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and Elastic Kubernetes Service.

● Experience with identity management solutions such as Okta.

● Familiarity with Atlassian Jira.

● Experience working within engineering organizations utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.

● Proficiency in using functions like VLOOKUP in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.

● Basic knowledge of automation for simple API queries using Python.

● Fundamental SQL skills.
