Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Specimen Technician to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Specimen Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory by processing and preparing specimens for testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Data entry of test orders
Presort, pickup, and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory
Centrifugation and aliquoting of specimens
Preparation of laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing
Identifying problems and resolving issues with specimen types

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
No experience required, but previous experience in a production or medical environment is preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
