**About the Role**

This full-time hourly position reports to the Distribution Supervisor in Boston, MA. We have two vacancies for highly skilled individuals with expertise in pipefitting and welding.

**Responsibilities**

  • Perform a variety of assignments requiring high knowledge in mechanical fields.
  • Weld and burn operations, shop and field repair of Carbon steel pipe according to ASME B31.1 code.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, locate system manholes, and traps.
  • Thorough understanding of properties of steam, pumping devices, valves, PRVS, and anchors.
  • Assist in training other Mechanic 2s and Welders.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid MA driver's license minimum Class D and safe driving record.
  • MA Journeyman Pipe-fitter's License.
  • Able to follow DOT regulations when required.

**Salary**

$55.98 per hour.
