Position Summary for Technical Inside Sales Representative
We are in search of a Technical Inside Sales Representative who will engage in a variety of responsibilities that include direct communication with designated customer accounts and collaboration with internal teams. In this role, you will utilize computer systems to address customer inquiries and manage sales orders efficiently. You will work closely with various internal departments to fulfill customer requests for technical details, provide order updates, expedite orders, resolve issues, and develop solutions as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills across various communication channels, including in-person, telephone, and email interactions, while being proficient in a fast-paced office setting.
- Maintain ongoing communication with our distribution network through emails and phone calls, requiring a high level of customer finesse and empathy.
- Possess the ability to comprehend and convey technical specifications effectively to both internal teams and customers.
- Achieve success through accuracy and efficiency in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Position Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant education or experience is preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of proven inside sales or customer service experience in an industrial setting, ideally related to valves and flow control products.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is advantageous.
- A solid technical understanding of industrial manufacturing processes is essential.
- Experience in valve sizing and specification is required.
- Knowledge of industrial valve applications is necessary.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and overall computer literacy is expected.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is between $30 and $34 per hour.
