Job Summary

As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of outpatient medical properties and ensuring the highest level of service to our tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our healthcare partners, decision makers, and tenants.
    • Schedule ongoing meetings with tenants to review property operations and maintain satisfaction.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop annual operating budgets and reforecasts for each property, focusing on excellent maintenance of assets while understanding the impact on NOI and performance within the larger portfolio.
    • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, providing explanations and details for expense variances and accounts receivable issues/activity.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maximize recoverable income on a property-by-property basis.
    • Prepare and submit 5-year capital plans for approval.
    • Monitor accounts receivable and provide appropriate collection efforts based on lease and tenant relationships.
  • Property Inspections and Maintenance
    • Tour and inspect each property on a regular basis to assess and evaluate conditions, performance, expectations, and compliance.
    • Coordinate inspections with the engineering team and vendors to correct any identified issues.
  • Leasing and Tenant Support
    • Tour vacant space and support leasing efforts.
    • Oversee facility maintenance teams and work directly with chief engineers/supervisors on building and team strategies and plans to ensure continuity of building operations.
  • Vendor Management and Performance
    • Regularly review vendor performance and communicate and coordinate with account managers to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Provide formal supervision, training, and development support to employees.
    • Perform performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure operational compliance, including vendor contract reviews, insurance certificate compliance, tenant contact audits, and updates to MRI and current work order portals.
  • Acquisitions and Dispositions
    • Assist with acquisitions and dispositions as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, real estate, finance, and/or accounting.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate property management, with experience in healthcare property management strongly preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Possess strong initiative and a sense of personal responsibility.
    • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with the business community and interact with various levels of professionals.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
