PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Customs Entry Writer to join our team. As a Customs Entry Writer, you will be responsible for providing timely responses to customer inquiries and ensuring resolution of issues to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary customs representative for assigned customer accounts, providing timely responses to inquiries and ensuring resolution of issues to customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate mastery of customs brokerage products' standard operating procedures (SOP) and best practices.
- Take ownership of Customer Standard Operating Procedures and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) databases to ensure full compliance with CBP and customer requirements.
- Transition from basic data entry to customs brokerage account management, serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Analyze and validate import documentation and data to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations prior to entry submission.
- Maintain a high level of operational excellence in terms of on-time performance, accuracy, and customer service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of customs entry-writing experience.
Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience and benefits.
