Position Overview
The role of a Gas Pipeline Technician is essential for the establishment, upkeep, and restoration of natural gas distribution systems. Key responsibilities include the assembly of pipe casings, vault lids, and pipe fittings, among other tasks. The technician will assist the team with gas pipe management, ensure adherence to quality benchmarks, oversee inventory levels, and provide training on proper pipe assembly techniques.
Job Requirements
Applicants should possess at least a high school diploma and a minimum of one year of experience in gas pipeline operations. Preferred qualifications include a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and over two years of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position demands physical stamina, including prolonged periods of bending, climbing, and lifting in diverse weather conditions. Candidates must be capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination.
