Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Readiness Specialist to join our team at U.S. Army Forces Command. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the readiness of our forces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct major readiness management studies to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancement.
  • Conduct technical assessments of readiness studies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to senior leadership on readiness trends and areas of concern.
  • Evaluate concepts and emerging theories in other functional areas to determine their impact on readiness processes.
  • Make recommendations to decision-makers on critical readiness management analytical issues.
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, including reviewing and validating unit readiness reports, conducting readiness management studies, and preparing detailed staff products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
