We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Construction Quality Assurance Inspector for a full-time position in El Paso, Texas. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our healthcare construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Quality Assurance: Define project objectives and strategies for success, ensure project inspections and procedures are implemented and followed, and ensure the success of each project phase.
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspection observations to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications, attend construction progress meetings, and review quality assurance and quality control testing.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate records of project progress, including quantity take-offs, project record drawings, and test reports.
- Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and healthcare campus staff, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a construction inspector on health science or healthcare complex facilities.
- Skills: Good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and proactive thinking to foresee construction problems and concerns.
- Certifications: ACI Certified, Nuclear Gauge, and OSHA Safety Training are preferred.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving machinery & mechanical parts, uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to loud noise, and outside weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:The physical requirements must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Intermittent unassisted sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stooping, crawling, pushing and lifting is required. Must be able to walk and/or stand for prolong periods of time for at least eight hours per day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move light equipment up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Other Requirements:- Driver's License: Possession of a valid state of residence driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Travel: Daily travel to and from construction sites, generally within 100 miles from the home office is expected. Short term, out of town, assignments may be required. Long term, out of town, assignments may be required, with advance notice of planned dates.
- Work Schedule: May be required to work protracted and irregular hours to meet client's needs, including nights, overtime and weekends.
