Job Title: HR Generalist

Job Summary:
Infinity Natural Resources is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to provide comprehensive support across various aspects of the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering employee benefits, leave of absence, and accommodation programs, as well as managing worker's compensation and unemployment claims. Additionally, the HR Generalist will collaborate with vendors to resolve benefits-related issues, process employee payroll, and handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews. The successful candidate will also support the recruitment process, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and participate in HR projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer employee benefits, leave of absence, and accommodation programs.
  • Manage worker's compensation and unemployment claims.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve benefits-related issues.
  • Process employee payroll.
  • Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews.
  • Support the recruitment process.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification desirable but not required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a hands-on HR role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Experience with payroll administration preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, contractors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Must be able to perform light work – exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
  • Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
