Job Summary:

The Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for preventing and investigating shoplifting crimes in our stores. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with store management and security teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations of shoplifting incidents, including reviewing security footage and interviewing witnesses.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent shoplifting, such as training store employees and conducting regular security audits.
  • Collaborate with store management and security teams to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports of shoplifting incidents, including recommendations for prevention and mitigation.
  • Testify in court as needed to prosecute shoplifting cases.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in loss prevention or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly in response to shoplifting incidents.
