We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, providing assistance with activities of daily living and attending to individual care needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) in collaboration with the community team, ensuring residents receive tailored care and support.
- Participate in the development of ISP monthly updates, ensuring residents' needs are met and care plans are adjusted as necessary.
- Respond to dining needs of residents and guests, maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
- Invite, Encourage, and Assist (IEA) residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities, as indicated on their ISP and demographic profile.
- Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and ability to work in a team environment.
- High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations.
- In states where appropriate, must maintain certifications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
