Business Office Manager

Ciena Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Business Office Manager to join our team. As a Business Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day office functions, providing assistance to guests and families with billing and insurance questions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the facility accounts receivable system, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
  • Record daily collections of cash receipts and deposit to the appropriate account, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Establish and maintain communication with patients, family members, and payers to resolve billing and insurance issues.
  • Generate timely billing of all payer classes for claims generated by the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyze financial data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes as needed.
  • Close Resident Trust accounts timely and complete bank reconciliation monthly, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Process Medicaid applications and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, some college or technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in A/R capacity in the long term care setting, preferably with knowledge of PCC.
