Job Title: Cloud Engineer/DevOps

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer/DevOps professional to join our team at ConnectTel, Inc. in Point Mugu, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
Requirements:
  • 3-10 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps, with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and application development.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including S3, and experience with Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, agile DevOps workflows, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with containerization, orchestration, and microservices architecture, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills, with experience in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
  • Relevant security certifications, such as CompTIA Security+.
  • BS or BA degree in a computer or information science field, or a relevant technical discipline.
