Job Description

Our Facilities Maintenance Technician will work to keep resident living areas well-maintained and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaints and queries promptly and professionally. If you are pleasant, detail-oriented, and friendly, this may be the ideal role for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Maintenance Director in identifying needed repairs or replacements in apartments, rooms, common areas, landscaping, parking areas, etc.
  • Complete work orders from residents and staff
  • Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs
  • Complete special projects as directed
  • Work independently, self-starter to identify needs for room turns and have the ability to fix and repair
  • Assist with resident moves on occasion
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of at least 1 year in general maintenance and/or construction
  • Must have a valid driver's license in the State
  • Must be knowledgeable of maintenance practices and procedures in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
  • Have a basic knowledge how to use various hand tools, paints, cleaners, machines, etc.
