About the Opportunity

Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our Game Art department. As a key member of our faculty team, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the art of game development, while also contributing to the growth and development of our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instructional Activities: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in game art and design, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
  • Curriculum Development: You will be expected to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Student Assessment and Evaluation: You will be responsible for assessing student learning and providing regular feedback to students on their progress.
  • Departmental Service: You will be expected to participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the growth and development of the Game Art program.
Requirements
  • Master of Fine Arts (MFA) or Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Game Art or a related field.
  • Substantial industry experience in game art and design.
  • Expertise in game engines such as Unreal Engine and Maya.
  • College-level teaching experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with 3D modeling and texturing.
  • Knowledge of game development pipelines and processes.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
