Game Art Adjunct Professor

Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our Game Art department. As a key member of our faculty team, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the art of game development, while also contributing to the growth and development of our program.
Responsibilities- Teaching and Instructional Activities: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in game art and design, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
- Curriculum Development: You will be expected to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's goals and objectives, while also staying current with industry trends and best practices.
- Student Support: As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students, including regular office hours, feedback on assignments, and mentorship in the development of their skills and portfolios.
- Departmental Contributions: You will be expected to participate in departmental meetings, contribute to the development of program policies and procedures, and engage in other activities that support the growth and development of the Game Art department.
- Qualifications: A Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Game Art or a related field, or a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Game Art or a related field, with substantial industry experience.
- Expertise: The successful candidate will have expertise in game art and design, including experience with software such as Maya, Substance, Z-Brush, and Unreal Engine.
- Teaching Experience: College-level teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
- Location: The successful candidate must reside in the greater Denver Metro Area or one of the following states: Colorado, California, New Jersey, New York, Florida, or Arizona.
