Position Summary
Vericast is seeking to enhance its team by adding a Production Equipment Specialist. In this role, you will oversee the operation and performance of the packaging machinery, ensuring that quality and production targets are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the packaging machinery while monitoring overall performance, efficiency, and quality.
- Conduct equipment start-up, shut-down, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Sample and assess product quality from the system, making necessary adjustments.
- Troubleshoot any performance or quality issues with the packaging machinery, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Continuously replenish materials as they are consumed.
- Maintain accurate records of production, efficiency, and quality related to the packaging operations.
- Complete the production cycle for printed materials by managing bindery and packaging equipment.
This role supports the manufacturing of personal products through a consistent production process, requiring a solid understanding of operational methods and various binding machines.
While the work is generally routine, some discretion may be exercised. The position applies specialized knowledge and expertise to implement predominantly short-term tasks and projects aligned with business needs.
Decision Making:
Involves mechanical troubleshooting and making production-related decisions concerning maintenance and quality.
