Sign Production Specialist

Job Summary:The Sign Production Specialist will be responsible for creating and assembling sign and graphic products for various business applications. This includes cutting printed graphics using various tools, applying products to substrates, and performing installations in the field. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet high-volume production demands.
Responsibilities:- Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images on a predetermined substrate or medium.
- Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc.
- Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images, using various techniques depending on size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images.
- Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
- Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces.
- Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered.
- Clean and maintain storage areas.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced knowledge of safe operation of power tools, general construction tools/methods, ability to measure, level, and cut straight lines.
- Good math and proof-reading skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment (approximately 10 projects per day).
- Enthusiasm for completing HIGH QUALITY projects efficiently.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented to ensure every part of a project comes out correctly the first time.
- Valid State of North Carolina Driver's License.
- Efficient at problem solving and creatively come up with solutions.
