Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuroscience Unit team at St. Mary's Health Care System. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify care plans under limited supervision.
  • Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to your expertise.
  • Collaborate with the Care Team and Support Team to achieve patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
  • Provide care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards.
Requirements
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or found by the Board to be substantially equivalent to the programs in Georgia.
  • Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
  • Prior experience in neuroscience nursing is preferred.
